The European Youth Education Center is located in the Villa Böckelmann, a historic neo-renaissance building in the district of Ottersleben, in the very south of the state capital Magdeburg. Surrounded by an English landscape park and equipped with a spacious garden, this special place offers our guests an ideal setting for exchange, educational work and joint learning.

Living & Learning

Large and small groups will find a place to sleep in our 130+ beds in apartments on the top floor of the villa and in the attached guesthouse. Seven large and small, modernly equipped seminar rooms provide space for a variety of activities - from hybrid meetings to workshops to international conventions featuring simultaneous interpreting.

International cuisine

We are particularly proud of our in-house international kitchen team. With fresh ideas and high quality ingredients, they provide our guests with dishes to suit every taste each day. Healthy vegetarian, vegan and pork-free options are a standard part of our menu.

In our 130+ beds in the attic of the Wilhelminian style villa and the adjoining modern guest house, small and large groups can find a place to stay. Right outside the door, our garden area, which leads directly into a 25,000 m² landscaped garden, invites you to relax, play or even work - and if the weather is bad, you can make yourself comfortable in the historic lounge.

There are many opportunities to learn and teach at EJBM: In the context of an international youth exchange or an ESC, in work groups, conferences or over a longer period as a volunteer or intern. Our seven modern seminar rooms are available for groups of various sizes.
