From February 2022 to December 2023, the "EKO" project addressed the need to pay more attention to the topic of sustainable development in the vocational training process. Together with the partner organizations FAVEO from Poland and FGU from Denmark, EJBM took up the challenge of looking at the global perspective of human-environment-economy in various professional fields.

Handbook for teachers in vocational schools

The result of the project is a handbook for teachers at vocational schools. Thirty-six concepts were developed for teaching occupations in various sectors that address the issue of environmental sustainability with regard to the targeted occupational field. The challenge was to develop educational materials that would be interesting, accessible and encouraging for young people and that teachers could implement in the classroom.
