It is election year. Many young people get to vote for the 1st time, while others are getting ready to be 1st time voters. So let’s familiarize ourselves with voting processes to make sure we are being heard.
And for those who are not yet eligible to vote – what avenues can they take to make their voice heard in a democracy? This Youth Exchange aims to bring young people from different countries together to help them explore the roads to political participation and learn from each other.
Participation in an international youth exchange at the European Youth Education Center Magdeburg is free of charge. Accommodation in shared rooms and full board are included. Underage participants are supervised by their team leaders or pedagogical staff of the EJBM.
This Youth Exchange aims to bring young people together to explore different avenues of democratic participation - even for those that are not (yet) eligible to vote. We also want to familiarize young people with democratic processes in general.

Participants from Germany may only be present until February 11 due to local school vacation periods.
Your travel expenses will be reimbursed up to these fixed amounts per round trip and per person:
| 10-99 km: | 20,00 € / person |
| 100-499 km: | 180,00 € / person |
| 500-1,999 km: | 275,00 € / person |
| 2,000-2,999 km: | 360,00 € / person |
