Dear Parents or Guardians,

Please read the following information carefully. The term child or young person in the text below refers to the minor for whom the registering person holds parental responsibility, legal custody, guardianship, or a comparable duty of care. The term activity refers to the event for which the child is being registered. This includes, but is not limited to, workshops, seminars, meetings, educational trips, and similar offerings.

    Duty of Supervision

  1. I agree that the supervising staff will fulfil their duty of care and make necessary decisions to protect children and young people from harm.

    2. Medical Care and Emergencies

  2. I agree that minor injuries sustained by my child may be treated by the supervising staff. (This includes, for example, small scrapes, insect bites, sunburn, etc.)
  3. If a situation arises during the seminar where my child’s health or life is in acute danger, I consent to all medically necessary actions being taken immediately without requiring prior approval from me. The event organisers commit to informing me as soon as possible.
  4. I am aware that any costs incurred for medical transportation (e.g., visits to a doctor or hospital) may be charged to me.

    5. Code of Conduct and Liability

  5. I understand that participants are prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages or drugs and from leaving the group without permission.
  6. In cases of serious misconduct, a severe violation of seminar rules, illness, or any other important reason, I agree to arrange for my child's immediate collection at my own expense.
  7. The Bildungsnetzwerk Magdeburg gGmbH and its supervisors are not liable for any claims from participants or legal guardians, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional breach of duty. This exclusion of liability does not apply in cases of injury to life, body, or health.
  8. I confirm that I will provide Bildungsnetzwerk Magdeburg gGmbH with all relevant health information about my child (e.g., allergies, intolerances, emergency medication) before the activity. If this information is not requested during the registration process, I will submit it independently.
  9. I agree to reimburse Bildungsnetzwerk Magdeburg gGmbH for any damage caused by my child to a third party through wilful or malicious actions.

    10. Cancellation

  10. Unless otherwise stated for the specific activity, the following cancellation conditions apply.
    Please understand that cancellations are only recognised in writing and must be received before the start of the event. If the customer withdraws from the contract with Bildungsnetzwerk Magdeburg gGmbH, the organisation is entitled to charge the agreed services, even if they are not used.
    If a cancellation occurs or if the number of participants falls below the contractually agreed number by more than 10%, the following fees will be charged – unless a substitute booking is arranged:
    • From 6 weeks before the start: 35% of the agreed services,
    • From 3 weeks before the start: 50% of the agreed services,
    • From 1 week before the start: 90% of the agreed services.
    Bildungsnetzwerk Magdeburg gGmbH reserves the right to withdraw from the agreement for objectively justified reasons in cases such as force majeure, operational disruptions, or other circumstances beyond the organisation’s control that make fulfilment of the contract impossible. The customer is not entitled to claim compensation in such cases.

    11. Data Protection

  11. Data protection declaration in accordance with the GDPR: I consent to Bildungsnetzwerk Magdeburg gGmbH storing and processing the data electronically for the purpose of organising the event. The collection and processing of data is necessary for the execution of the event and is based on Article 6 (1) a) GDPR. Data will only be shared with funding bodies.

    12. Severability Clause

  12. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
