The European Youth Education Centre Magdeburg (EJBM) is the primary address for international youth work in Saxony-Anhalt.
Together with our affiliated projects and partner organisations, we offer numerous services for young people, professionals, schools and educational institutions in Magdeburg and Saxony-Anhalt. Our mission: to broaden horizons and promote international competences in our region.
In the quiet district of Ottersleben, in the very south of Magdeburg, the European Youth Education Centre is located in the Villa Böckelmann, a heritage-protected neo-Renaissance building. Surrounded by an elegant landscape park and equipped with a spacious garden, this special place offers our guests an ideal setting for exchange, educational work and joint learning.
In spring 2025, the European Youth Education Centre (EJBM) was awarded the Quality Label for Youth Centres by the Council of Europe. The label is tied to high quality standards and, including us, has only been awarded twice in Germany and 15 times across Europe so far. We are incredibly proud to now be part of this network of outstanding educational institutions.
