On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty, 50 young people from all over Saxony-Anhalt came together last weekend at the European Youth Education Centre in Magdeburg. They met 50 pupils from Saxony-Anhalt's partner region Centre-Val de Loire and together, they prepared a project on the Elysée Treaty.
The aim of the project is to meet together first in Magdeburg and then in Amboise during the October holidays. In various workshops they will discuss important topics relevant to young people. In this way they will work out a "new Elysée Treaty".
