As part of our ongoing collaboration with the Anhalt Vocational School Center "Hugo Junkers" in Dessau, we held intensive consultations on Erasmus+ mobility opportunities on November 19, 2024. We were supported by a group of international volunteers who are currently assisting our work at the European Youth Education Centre (EJBM) through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). Our goal: to increase the number of mobilities within our Erasmus+ mobility consortium in the field of vocational education and training, and to provide young people with international experiences.
During the consultations, trainees were able to receive concrete information about their stays abroad. Four mobilities for internships abroad were decided upon, marking an important step for the future careers of the participants. Particularly noteworthy was the fact that two of the trainees found internship positions in Valencia, which was a nice coincidence. One of our international volunteers from Valencia was able to give the trainees helpful tips on finding accommodation and other practical aspects of life abroad.
This consultation round highlights the importance of international exchange in vocational education and how Erasmus+ contributes to broadening the personal and professional horizons of young people.
