From 22 to 26 March, the Europäische Jugendbildungsstätte Magdeburg (EJBM) invites participants to take part in a free educational trip to Brussels. Over five days, participants will gain exciting insights into European politics – directly on site, where key decisions for Europe are made.
The programme includes, among other things, a visit to the European Parliament and a personal discussion with Member of the European Parliament Alexandra Mehnert from Saxony-Anhalt. The programme is complemented by a visit to the House of European History in Brussels, an appointment at the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to NATO, as well as workshops on Europe and career opportunities within the European Union.
The group will be accommodated at the Destelheide-Hanenbos Youth Centre, a partner youth education centre in Belgium. Departure is scheduled for the morning of 22 March from Magdeburg (with a possible additional stop in Halle), and the return journey is planned for the evening of 26 March. Exact times will be announced in due course.
The educational trip is aimed at young adults aged 18 to 27 from Saxony-Anhalt who are enthusiastic about Europe. Participation is free of charge – travel, accommodation in shared rooms, full board and the entire programme are included. Parts of the programme will be conducted in English.
