Organized by the Otto von Guericke University (OVGU), an Erasmus+ training took place on November 21, 2024, at the Europeschool "Grundschule Sudenburg" in Magdeburg, with 40 student teachers from various universities and schools across Saxony-Anhalt participating. As part of our work as the Erasmus+ Mobility Consortium for Saxony-Anhalt, we actively participated in the training and supported it with our content and materials.
Our expertise helped to highlight the opportunities Erasmus+ offers for teacher training and student exchange. We demonstrated how internationalization can already be promoted at the primary school level and provided the students with valuable practical information for their future careers. Of course, we also didn’t want to miss the opportunity to offer the future teachers suggestions on how to integrate European topics into their lessons, thus driving the internationalization of schools in Saxony-Anhalt.
