With GOEUROPE!, EJBM and Europe Direct Halle you get the chance to help shape the Europe of tomorrow!
Every two years, 10,000 young people from all over Europe meet at the European Youth Event! Workshops, activities and space for discussions and networking, with institutions, international organizations, civil society, youth organizations and of course other participants*.
Given the European and global context, and in the run-up to the 2024 European elections, part of the program will focus on the role of democracy and youth engagement. Following the event, young people's ideas, expectations and concerns will be collected in the EYE report, which will be distributed to all Members of the European Parliament (MEPs). Some participants will have the opportunity to develop the most popular ideas and present them directly to MEPs during the EYE hearing.
As in previous years, we want to accompany young people from Saxony-Anhalt aged 16 to 30 to the EYE. Travel costs, accommodation and breakfast will be covered by us. We will leave Magdeburg on June 8th and return on June 11th.
