Youth Exchanges at EJBM
European Values – sei dabei! Eine Woche lang dreht sich alles um Demokratie, Menschenrechte, Vielfalt und Europa. Du triffst junge Menschen aus verschiedenen Ländern, tauschst dich über eure Perspektiven aus und erlebst, wie internationale Begegnung neue Ideen und Freundschaften entstehen lässt.
Unter dem Titel „United in Diversity: Exploring European Values“ geht es eine Woche lang um die Frage, was europäische Werte im Alltag bedeuten. Gemeinsam beschäftigen sich die Teilnehmenden mit Demokratie, Menschenrechten, Vielfalt, Identität und Zusammenleben in Europa.
Das Programm verbindet interaktive Workshops, Diskussionen, Gruppenarbeit und kreative Aktivitäten. Themen sind unter anderem Values in Everyday Life, Culture and Identity, Diversity and Inclusion, Democracy and Human Rights, Democracy in Practice sowie Human Rights and Me.
Ein besonderer Teil der Begegnung ist die gemeinsame Projektarbeit: In internationalen Gruppen entwickeln die Teilnehmenden eine gemeinsame Aktivität, bringen ihre Perspektiven ein und präsentieren am Ende ihre Ergebnisse. Außerdem ist ein Austausch mit Alexandra Mehnert, Mitglied des Europäischen Parlaments, geplant.
Neben den Workshops gibt es viel Raum für Begegnung und Gemeinschaft: Kennenlern- und Vertrauensübungen, Reflexionsrunden, interkulturelle Abende, Filmabend, Spieleabend, Silent Disco und Farewell Party gehören ebenso zum Programm wie ein Besuch der Magdeburger Innenstadt mit Actionbound.
Die Jugendbegegnung richtet sich an junge Menschen im Alter von 13 bis 15 Jahren aus Sachsen-Anhalt, die Lust auf internationale Begegnung, neue Perspektiven und Austausch über Europa haben. Du triffst Teilnehmende aus verschiedenen Ländern und verbringst gemeinsam mit ihnen eine Woche in Magdeburg.
Geeignet ist die Begegnung für junge Menschen, die neugierig auf andere Kulturen sind, gerne mit anderen zusammenarbeiten und sich für Themen wie Demokratie, Menschenrechte, Vielfalt und europäische Werte interessieren. Du musst kein Vorwissen mitbringen – wichtig sind Offenheit, Interesse und die Bereitschaft, dich einzubringen.
Da die Begegnung international ist, solltest du dich auf Englisch auf einfachem Gesprächsniveau verständigen können. Im Programm gibt es viele gemeinsame Aktivitäten, Workshops und interkulturelle Abende, die das Kennenlernen erleichtern und Raum für neue Freundschaften schaffen.

The aim of this youth exchange is to strengthen the democratic awareness of young people aged 13-15 from five European countries and to inspire them with a long-term motivation for active citizenship.

This youth exchange is a creative, hands-on week where young people from across Europe learn how to design their own social campaigns. After getting to know each other, participants explore what makes movements like #FridaysForFuture effective and identify issues that matter to their generation.
