Yesterday and today, we had a small stand, lots of information and plenty of interested visitors at the "Chance" in Halle, the largest education and job fair in Saxony-Anhalt. The "Pathways abroad" and "Discover EU" were particularly popular with young people.
How can we communicate the European Idea in times of crises? What does it take to counter common table talk and Fake News? This Training Course aims to equip young professionals from the field of political youth education with new methods and to give them space for exchange.
The multilateral expert measure "Communicating Europe in times of crisis" brings together experts in international youth work from several European countries. Together we would like to exchange proven, creative and/or new methods of communicating the European Idea, digital tools and needs analysis of the target group of young people as well as create manual for communicating Europe today. This should also include argumentation aids for common table slogans, recognizing and dealing with fake news, opportunities for active participation in the context of co-determination.
As part of the measure, international youth work professionals from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds will come together, work together, engage in content-related activities.
They will creatively deal with the topics of quality assurance and enhancement of international youth
measures, setting new priorities and orienting themselves according to current needs analyses of the
target group of young people and share common experiences.

This week, our youth exchange "This Time WE Vote" is all about democracy and democratic participation. In view of this year's EU elections and the sometimes growing anti-democratic forces, the young people will exchange ideas and discover different ways of making their voices heard in a democracy.
With an eye on the upcoming EU elections in June, young professionals from Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and France met to exchange ideas and learn about new methods for promoting democracy.
